Set up delivery, minimums and payment methods
Choose how customers can order, what delivery costs, your minimum order and which payment methods you accept.
Orders and deliveries holds the rules for your orders: order types, delivery fees, minimum order, preparation time, scheduled orders, payment methods and currency. Only Owners and Administrators can open My restaurant.

Order types
In Available order types, tick Delivery, Pickup and At a table; you need at least one. Customers only see the ones you turn on. On your menu, At a table appears as Dine in, and the table number is optional. If you offer Pickup, customers see your restaurant's address when they order.
Delivery fees
- Set the base fee
Enter the Base delivery fee (COP). It's charged when you have no active zones.
- Add zones if the price depends on the area
Under Delivery zones, tap Add zone and enter the neighborhood or area name and its Fee (COP). You can have up to 50.
- Turn each zone on or off
Use the Active switch. With at least one active zone, customers must pick theirs and pay that zone's fee instead of the base fee.
- Save
Tap Save changes.
Minimum order and preparation time
- Minimum order (COP) is compared with the value of the items, before any discount and delivery. If an order falls short, the customer sees the minimum when they try to send it. Leave it at 0 for no minimum. It applies to tablets too.
- Estimated preparation (minutes), from 0 to 240, shows on your menu and next to As soon as possible. It's also the minimum notice for a scheduled order.
Scheduled orders
With Allow scheduled orders on, customers can tap Schedule and pick a date and time within your opening hours, at least your preparation time ahead and up to seven days out. That way you take orders even while you're closed. The form shows the time as Colombia time. Set your hours in hours and pausing.
Payment methods
In Payment methods, enter one per line, from 1 to 12; for example Cash, Nequi or Card terminal. Customers pick the one they prefer and it appears on the order, but Zimtig never charges anyone: you arrange payment. If you list only one, customers see it without having to choose.
Currency
In Currency, choose COP, EUR or USD. COP amounts are whole pesos; EUR and USD allow cents.
Frequently asked questions
Can I charge delivery by distance?
Not by exact distance. Create zones, such as neighborhoods or areas, each with its own fee; customers pick theirs and see each zone's price.
Can I offer free delivery above a certain amount?
There's no such option. You can set the fee to 0 for everyone or create a zone with a 0 fee. Coupons never discount delivery.
Can my customers pay online?
No. Zimtig doesn't process payments; the payment method is just the customer's preference. See how orders reach you.
Why can't I change the currency?
Because you already have products, coupons or orders, or a fee or the minimum order isn't zero. Zimtig doesn't convert existing amounts.
